Residential Boiler Tax Credit Part of Stimulus Plan
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 was signed
into law on February 17, 2009. Included are Energy Conservation
Incentives for homeowners who invest in energy efficiency
upgrades. Tax credits available to homeowners include hot water
boilers with efficiencies equal to or greater than 90% AFUE
placed into service in the taxpayer’s principle home from
January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2010. Lochinvar KNIGHT
Heating Boilers qualify for the 30% tax credit up to $1,500
(aggregate of all energy upgrades). Investing in energy
